Comedy in Common: Conrad Conch

We’re so excited to bring you a fire night of comedy as part of the Heat Winter Arts Festival!

With an all-star lineup, the evening will be hosted by Vuyo Viwe, one of Cape Town’s rising comedy talents. Known for his quick wit, relatable storytelling and effortless crowd work, Vuyo brings infectious energy to every stage and is guaranteed to get the night off to the perfect start.

Headlining the evening is none other than Conrad Koch, South Africa’s award-winning ventriloquist and comedian. Best known for his razor-sharp satire and unforgettable cast of puppet characters—including the wildly popular Chester Missing—Conrad has performed around the world, earning acclaim for his unique blend of political comedy, social commentary and laugh-out-loud entertainment.
