MFAZWEYAMWEZI—meaning “war of the moon”—is a South African all-female jazz-folk collective blending African jazz, folk traditions and oral storytelling. Founded in December 2025, their performances are immersive journeys through resilience, Black joy, womanhood and community, where spoken word, song and improvisation merge into a powerful live experience.

MANA reimagines jazz through the lens of magical realism, weaving folklore together with bossa nova, samba and virtuosic improvisation. Drawing from their acclaimed 2025 debut Orb, the band creates immersive performances that combine ethereal storytelling with progressive visuals. Having captivated audiences across Southern Africa, Europe and South America, MANA delivers a live show unlike any other.
